The numbers are in. The US toll of COVID-19 cases currently makes up more than half of total cases worldwide. But with front line healthcare workers fighting hard — Dr. Samuel Botros, MD believes that there is hope on the horizon.

The United States is ranking #1 yet again — this time, not for a good reason. With well over 1.7 million confirmed cases, the US is home to more than 50% of the world’s COVID-19 cases.

The current state of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic is unprecedented.  With over 5.49 million cases currently reported as of May 25, 2020, the pandemic feels far from over.  On a daily basis, the number of cases continues to grow.  The United States has experienced the bulk of the infection — sending the public in panic.

Fortunately, healthcare workers are weathering the storm with their sleeves rolled up.  Although the United States may have the most confirmed cases, the country also maintains the highest rate of recovery.  So far, more than 353 thousand individuals infected with COVID-19 in the United States have recovered, thanks to the brave efforts of healthcare professionals.  Dr. Samuel Botros, MD and his practice applaud the incredible work of all essential workers.
