The vast majority of patients who’ve contracted COVID-19 experience mild symptoms, with many experiencing no symptoms at all. According to recent studies, some individuals have been battling COVID-19 symptoms for several months.

Most patients recover from COVID-19 within two weeks.  According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 80% of cases demonstrate a mild or asymptomatic impact on the patient as a result of COVID-19.  Support groups on Slack and Facebook are now pushing for unique studies to tap into why so many people have experienced COVID-19 symptoms for months at a time.

It is important to note that these individuals have experienced mild symptoms.  Their cases are  not classified as severe.  Nevertheless, the difficulties presented by these COVID-19 symptoms have certainly made life difficult for those impacted for such a long duration of time.  In a recent article, The Atlantic interviewed nine individuals who fit into this category.
